Watercolor of an adobe church
This week’s watercolor painting is of an adobe church in Santa Fe. I painted this for a friend of mine. She asked me to feature southwest architecture in her birthday painting. I really like how the cerulean blue contrasts with the brown of the adobe, and how the shadows and granulation turned out.

I created my first blog in 2002 when my oldest child was born. I maintained “Sally Says” for 16 years! But then we moved to Washington DC for a couple years, and my children became teenagers.
